TL;DR — What changes for players?
Ranked enters the closed playtest, with opponent Legendary previews and an emote-mute option. Several starter decks change, and Grandmaster’s VP display is still unreliable.
Origins Tavern’s recap and explanations, based on Koin Games’ announcement.

Card balance
| Card | Change in this build |
|---|---|
| Huntsman | 4 mana · 4/4 → 6 mana · 6/6 |
Deck changes
- Swarm: First Aid is replaced by Mowgli to support the later game.
- Evil: Count Orlok is temporarily removed from the deck and game while an ability issue is addressed; Bandersnatch replaces him.
- Discard: Genie is replaced by Mind Palace to improve reliable Koschei discards with a cheaper draw option.
Fixes and improvements
- Location progression is reordered so players encounter keywords on cards before meeting those keywords on locations.
- Deathtouch also applies to On Death abilities. Random summoning no longer produces incomplete cards.
Known issues at publication
- Victory Point displays become unreliable after entering Grandmaster. A fix was being developed but was not included in 0.6.1.
