TL;DR — What changes for players?
Location rarity changes encounter frequency. Recheck Twister Toss and the higher costs of Bagheera, Mind Palace and Spellbook before reusing an older deck.

The changes in detail
New features
- Locations receive four rarity levels: common, rare, very rare and ultra rare. Rarity governs how often they appear.
- Twister Toss moves an ally to any space. Occupied targets are allowed; when another card is there, they exchange places.

Abilities and interactions
- Random cards generated by Humpty or Spellbook can no longer be copies of the generating card itself.
- Returning a card to a full hand now burns that card rather than causing the ability to fail.
- Freeze! and Dorothy gain keyword explanations on hover and become discoverable through collection keyword searches.
- Heroic Charge’s +2 Power remains if the buffed character loses its abilities; Trample is still removed.
- With several Defenders at a location, an unstunned Defender correctly protects when another is stunned.
Release context
- This was announced as the final pre-tournament balance patch, with a few hours of demo-server downtime.
- The announcement also flags changed Boogeyman behaviour, but supplies no precise Boogeyman change to reproduce.
- In-game support is listed for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Russian and Simplified Chinese. Dutch is not listed.
