The demo makes way for version 0.8

Origins TCG entered Steam Early Access on 27 October 2026. The version 0.8 announcement confirms that accounts, collections and progress have carried over from the demo.

The main additions

Grandmaster Division and its global leaderboard are open. The update also adds visible grading effects to collector cards and enables trading those cards on the Steam Market. Other collectible cosmetics are not yet tradable, according to the announcement.

Early Access is not the finished release

On Steam, Koin Games describes plans to expand content and refine the experience. Its target for leaving Early Access is around 17 March 2027, explicitly subject to change. The game remains free, with paid features also announced.

Explore at your own pace

For a first visit, set a small goal: understand how a game unfolds and identify what you enjoy. Collecting, climbing the ladder and exploring future additions can follow. It is possible to enjoy a developing game while keeping expectations grounded in its present state.

If you are returning from the demo, check which Steam application you launch. For changes, favour official announcements over an older guide that still describes a previous version.
